WWHI uses community stakeholders and systems already in place to build sustainable healthcare delivery systems. In this way, every intervention and program will be funded and maintained ultimately by the local communities. They, in partnership with WWHI, will provide quality, timely and innovative care - even to their most vulnerable and remote communities.
WWHI will accomplish the mission in four comprehensive strategies:
1. Train local midwives and other healthcare workers to provide quality care.
2. Increase technical capacity of local doctor.
3. Incorporate cutting edge, innovative technology modalities to increase access to quality health care and education helping to overcome infrastructure barriers.
4. Integrate economically driven incentives with simple medical interventions to ensure sustainability.
